By accessing or using the UGXPLORA platform (including our website, mobile applications, and related services), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our Services.

In these Terms:

• "Platform" refers to UGXPLORA's website, mobile applications, and related services.
• "Guest" means a user who uses the Platform to discover or contact Hosts regarding accommodations, vehicles, or travel services.
• "Host" means a user who lists and provides accommodation, car rentals, or other services through UGXPLORA.
• "Service Fee" means the fee charged by UGXPLORA for use of the Platform.
• "Content" includes text, images, reviews, and other materials posted on the Platform.

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify UGXPLORA immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use UGXPLORA. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older.

4.1 Platform Role

UGXPLORA acts as an intermediary platform connecting Guests with Hosts. We do not own, sell, resell, furnish, provide, or manage any accommodations, vehicles, or travel services.

4.2 Booking and Payment

UGXPLORA provides a platform that allows users to discover listings and contact Hosts. UGXPLORA does not currently process bookings or payments directly between Guests and Hosts.

All arrangements, agreements, and payments are made directly between users.

4.3 Service Fees

UGXPLORA may introduce service fees in the future for certain features or services. Any applicable fees will be clearly disclosed before they apply.

5.1 Listing Requirements

Hosts must provide accurate, complete information about their properties or vehicles, including photographs, descriptions, amenities, and pricing. All listings must comply with applicable laws and regulations.

5.2 Host Responsibilities

Hosts are responsible for:

• Maintaining their property/vehicle in safe, habitable condition
• Complying with all applicable laws, tax requirements, and regulations
• Respecting the privacy of Guests
• Honoring confirmed bookings

5.3 Insurance

Hosts are responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance coverage for their property or vehicle. UGXPLORA does not provide insurance for listed items.

6.1 Booking and Payment

Guests agree to pay all charges for their bookings, including the rental price, service fees, and any applicable taxes. UGXPLORA does not process payments between users at this time. Guests and Hosts are responsible for arranging payments directly.

6.2 Guest Responsibilities

Guests must:

• Treat the property/vehicle with care and respect
• Comply with Host rules and house policies
• Leave the property in the condition it was found
• Report any damages or issues to the Host immediately

6.3 Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation policies vary by Host and are displayed during booking. Refunds are subject to the Host's cancellation policy.

7.1 Content License

By posting Content on UGXPLORA, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute such Content in connection with the Platform.

7.2 Prohibited Content

You may not post Content that:

• Is illegal, fraudulent, or misleading
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains viruses or malicious code
• Is discriminatory, harassing, or threatening

7.3 Reviews

Reviews must be truthful and based on actual experience. UGXPLORA reserves the right to remove reviews that violate our policies.

UGXPLORA does not currently provide payment processing services. Users are responsible for arranging payments directly with Hosts.

UGXPLORA is not responsible for payment disputes between users.

Any cancellation policies or agreements are determined directly between Guests and Hosts. UGXPLORA is not responsible for disputes regarding cancellations.

10.1 Limitation of Liability

UGXPLORA's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for:

• Interactions between Users
• Property conditions or safety
• Vehicle conditions or roadworthiness
• Third-party services or products

10.2 No Warranty

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

10.3 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify UGXPLORA against any claims arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

UGXPLORA is an online platform that connects travelers with independent Hosts and service providers. UGXPLORA does not own, operate, control, or manage any listed properties, vehicles, or travel services.

All transactions, agreements, and interactions occur directly between users. UGXPLORA is not responsible for the conduct of users, the accuracy of listings, or the performance of services provided by Hosts.

12.1 User Disputes

UGXPLORA encourages Users to resolve disputes directly. We may provide mediation assistance but are not obligated to do so.

12.2 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Uganda. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kampala, Uganda.

12.3 Class Action Waiver

You waive any right to participate in class actions against UGXPLORA.

13.1 By User

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through account settings.

13.2 By UGXPLORA

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

13.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Outstanding obligations survive termination.

14.1 Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

14.2 Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and UGXPLORA regarding the Platform.

14.3 Severability

If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

14.4 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right.

14.5 Assignment

You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights without restriction.
